The Homefront Revolution 102

The new Homefront: The Revolution video pretty much continues where the last 101 left off, with “Hearts and Minds”. It focuses on area “rejuvenation” from the tidy red environments the “Nork’s” occupy to the messy revolutionary environment. Kill, fuel hate and destroy infrastructure your way from the red to yellow, all the way up to the green zone.

If that’s not enough to get you interested Deep Silver hopes to tempt you in with some goodies that will help your struggles in co-op easier. Join the Merits program and you can earn some swag to be used with your co-op character in Resistance mode before the game is even out.

Lastly, if all this got you interested but you need to know some more on narrative, below is the APEX history trailer. It’s very reminiscent of Apple and the all mighty corporate life. It also gives us ideas how the USA might have fallen to the Koreans. The company seems to have had its fingers inside all aspects of life, including defence, so it wouldn’t be farfetched to speculate that APEX just turned all their tech off and left the country defenceless. Check out the “history” site and make your own conclusions.

Check out the trailers and for few more details read the press release below but also see the new screenshots in the gallery below. The game is out in just over a month on 17th May 2016 in North America and 20th May 2016 in the rest of the world.
