Outlast 2 Release Creeps Closer With New Trailers

Posted on 21 Apr 2017 by

Get your diapers and cover your seats with sheets of plastic, because Outlast’s second game is here…well, almost here!

We gotta wait 4 more days until we can thrust our sweaty hands into Outlast’s dark and weird world of wonders. But when we do, we can take a glimpse into the story of a journalist who digs a bit too deep into whatever bizarre happenstance occurred in Arizona. A place where the mad and wicked have the power to decide who’s good and evil…and guess who’s the evil guy in their story?

Outlast 2 is available April 25th on Steam, GOG and some strange apprentices called the “Xbox One” and “PlayStation 4”? Red Barrel is also releasing the Outlast Trinity. A collection of all “3” games, even though Outlast: Whistleblower was just a DLC for the first game. Still, a great package if you’ve never played the Outlast series before.

Official Press Release

April 21, 2015 – Succumb to corruption and let the darkness take hold. A twisted new journey into the depths of the human mind and its unfathomable secrets, Outlast 2 and the series collection, Outlast Trinity, are coming April 25th to Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

As journalists, you and your wife have a reputation for taking risks and digging into the stories no one else dares to touch, but this time you may have gone too far. Your investigation of a seemingly impossible murder leads you deep into the Arizona desert, and into a darkness so wicked that no light could ever shine upon it.

No conflict is ever black and white. But once the dust has settled, the victors get to decide who was right and who was wrong. Who is good and who is evil. Human nature pushes us to extremes of violence and depravity, which we then justify by divine inspiration and a promise of paradise to come. Horror rises from desperation and blind faith. Outlast 2 will test your faith, pushing players to a place where going mad is the only sane thing to do.

Outlast 2 is will be available April 25th via digital distributors worldwide including Steam, GOG.com, PlayStation Store, and the Xbox Store. Available at retailers will be Outlast Trinity; a physical edition collecting the entire series of Outlast, Outlast: Whistleblower, and Outlast 2.
