Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will be accessible by some early, and by some, we mean subscribers to Origin/EA Access. For most players, Catalyst will drop on June 7th in the US and on the 9th in the EU, but for the aforementioned subscribers, they will get a chance to try Catalyst for a brief period starting on June 1st. Subscribers get six hours of playtime to explore a limited number of missions, zones, and test out the social play features. The six hours only decrease when the game is running, so subscribers won’t feel pressured to marathon their sessions for maximum efficiency. Not only that, but any progress made during this “trial release” window will carry over to when the full game releases on June 7th/9th.
