By some unfathomable dark ritual, Devolver Digital have managed to make an animated launch trailer as spectacularly stupid and cheesy as the game it’s advertising. Check it out above to hear a voice actor shout “Richaaaaard!” in a way that probably caused the director to weep in shame, and yet it’s perfect. The world has waited fifteen years for the release of FromSoftware’s Metal Wolf Chaos outside of Japan and tomorrow the legendary game arrives on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC! Devolver Digital, FromSoftware, and General Arcade herald the launch of Metal Wolf Chaos XD with a animated trailer from Powerhouse Animation (Netflix’s Castlevania) that recreates some of the game’s most iconic moments.
