Set in the lush forests and mountain ranges of the Pacific Northwest, the Layton Lake District challenges hunters with game such as the Roosevelt Elk, the Black Bear, the Moose, and more. An accompanying Steam post also reveals that there will be 14 unique weapons at launch, from long rifles to bows and agile handguns, each with their own attachments and ammunition types.
Persistent skills will also affect your hunting ability, such as being able to reload faster, or decreasing recoil. Developed in conjunction with Avalanche Studios, theHunter: Call of the Wild is the sequel to Expansive World’s previous free-to-play hunting game, theHunter.
Tagged for release on February 16th, we’ll see just how much Expansive Worlds has learned from their previous outing.
