Final Fantasy XIV To Celebrate Four Years

Posted on 29 Aug 2017

Final Fantasy XIV may have gotten off to a rocky start but the re-launch, A Realm Reborn turned it into the best MMO around. It looks like it’s here to stay too, as the game and its developers are preparing to celebrate the game’s fourth anniversary.

Any game should be proud of still having active players, let alone a thriving community, after four years and the developers are starting the celebrations with a 14 hour livestream on 2 September. There’ll be the latest “Letter from the Producer LIVE” segment and talks with the developers and guests amongst other things.

The much loved Yoshi-P, director Naoki Yoshida will be joined by Yasumi Matsuno to show off a new Ivalice themed 24-player alliance raid titled “Return to Ivalice” and a first look at the content of patch 4.1. Additionally there will be in-game events and a sale on the Mog Station.

Check out the press release below for a message from Yoshi-P and more info.
