It seems like every week something new about HITMAN finds itself in my mailbox, you have to give Square Enix some well-earned credit with the constant love and attention they’ve been showing the game and all its players. This week we get two little surprises, first being that all you master assassins out there will soon get to jump into another new and exciting episode in a brand new location for Agent 47 to have some fun in. The Club 27 mission, which takes place in China, has players hitting up the luxurious and lavish Himmapan Hotel, situated along the Chao Phraya River outside of Bangkok. Tasked with an order to eliminate the front man from the quick rising indie band, The Class, Agent 47 must deal with Jordan Cross and the wealthy Cross family lawyer, Ken Morgan, while they’re in town wrapping up their highly-anticipated sophomore album.

Come August 16th, we can all explore the grand hotel’s exquisite splendor and take in the natural beauty of its gorgeous exotic gardens along the vista of Chao Phraya River. With a plethora of new and exciting opportunities, disguises, weapons, gear and over 65 objectives to complete. Players will hopefully be challenged and entertained until HITMAN’s 5th episode, taking place in the United States of America, hits sometime in the coming months before the inevitable conclusion of Episode 6 in Japan. The second surprise is once again io-Interactive’s amazing “think outside the box” approach to advertising, showcasing and entertaining the masses, just as they did last time with the hilarious and unique HITMAN vs Gary Busey event and the inclusion of a giant 100ft killer robot Summer Bonus Episode. This time we’re treated with a sneak peak of the upcoming episode, not by the typical teaser trailer method, but via an official music video, sung by none other than the target himself, Jordan Cross and his band. I have to admit that my toes were a tappin’ and my head was a bobbin’ while listening to ‘Are We Stars’ by The Class. It’s a real shame that this talented band will be in the market for a new front man after Agent 47 soon pays them a visit. I wish them luck, as well as to all you assassins who are up to the task of taking out the garbage in the coming weeks.

As usual, before you go, have a listen to HITMAN’s official music video above, for more details about future episodes, do check out the press release below. Tune in next week folks, same HIT-time, same HIT-channel.

Official Press Release

COPENHAGEN, August 5, 2016 – Io-Interactive today confirms that episode 4 of HITMAN will be set in Bangkok and will be arriving on August 16th.

The “Club 27” mission transports players to the opulence and splendour of the Himmapan luxury hotel and resort, situated on the Chao Phraya River outside Bangkok.  Your targets are rising rock star Jordan Cross, front man of trending indie band The Class, and Cross’ family lawyer, Ken Morgan.  Both are currently residing at the luxury hotel as the band finishes its highly-anticipated sophomore album.

Explore the grand hotel’s exquisite interiors and bask in the natural beauty of the exotic gardens adorning the hotel’s exterior pavilions.  Or just enjoy the vista of the Chao Phraya River as you plan how best to carry out your mission.

“Bangkok is the exotic setting for the next episode in our HITMAN season,” said Hannes Seifert, Studio Head at Io-Interactive. “We’ve gone a bit rock and roll with this one as your targets are the lead singer of the band The Class and his family lawyer – so expect musical instruments to be used for some unusual activity.”

With all-new opportunities and disguises, plus over 65 different challenges unlocking new gear, weapons, and items, Episode 4: Bangkok is not to be missed.

HITMAN began with a Prologue and Paris location in March, continued with Episode 2: Sapienza in April, Episode 3: Marrakesh in May, the Summer Bonus Episode in July and Episode 4: Bangkok in August. Next will be the United States before the season finale in Japan later in 2016.

HITMAN is available on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Windows PC.
