HITMAN’s Bonus Summer Episode Now Live

Square Enix’s HITMAN summer bonus episode, which consists of two separate ICA missions, has just been released for all would-be master assassins to sink their teeth into. These missions will take Agent 47 to Sapienza and Marrakesh, although cataloguing his first trips to each place, both bonus missions are set apart from the main story. Even though the missions don’t share anything with the overall story arc in the game, they do offer a unique alternative to Agent 47’s first arrival, filled with a whole new range of in-game challenges and opportunities and a new arena for upcoming Elusive Targets and Escalation Contracts.

In Sapienza, a giant 100ft killer robot takes his mark in the middle of the town square, it seems the town has been taken over by a film crew who plan on shooting their next big sci-fi blockbuster in the area. Agent 47 will have his hands full with a set filled will all kinds of props, pyrotechnics and costumes that he can utilize to hunt down his target in ‘The Icon’. In Marrakesh, players will be tasked with stopping a billion dollar deal from going down during the busy, bustling night time markets in ‘A House Built on Sand’. With the current trio of Paris, Sapienza and Marrakesh episodes combined with this summer bonus mission and soon after, the much anticipated “Choose Your Target” Gary Busey event, players will have plenty to keep them busy until the final three locations are released later this year, Thailand, United States and the finale taking place in Japan.

COPENHAGEN, July 19, 2016 – HITMAN’s Summer Bonus Episode is live today.
The Summer Bonus Episode consists of two separate ICA missions which catalogue Agent 47’s first trips to both Sapienza and Marrakesh. This Episode is not part of the story arc of HITMAN, being previous ICA missions they are set apart from the main story.

In Sapienza, ‘The Icon’, sees the town taken over by a film crew shooting a new sci-fi blockbuster complete with a 100ft mechanical killer robot in the middle of the town square – what sort of accidents lie in wait with a whole film set, complete with pyrotechnics, at your disposal..?

And in ‘A House Built on Sand’ players will travel to the noisy and busy night markets of Marrakesh where Agent 47 must stop a billion dollar deal taking place.

The Summer Bonus Episode presents players with a range of new in-game Challenges and Opportunities that will keep them busy along with a new type of setting for Escalation Contracts and Elusive Targets.

The Summer Bonus Episode is available for players who own the Full Experience or own the combination of Intro Pack + Upgrade Pack, at no additional cost and will be available for download today. For all other players, the Summer Bonus Episode will be available for individual purchase later in the Season, packaged together with a third bonus mission for one price. At that time, Full Experience and Upgrade Pack owners will also get access to the third bonus mission at no additional cost.

PC: Available between 14:00 and 16:00 BST

HITMAN began with a Prologue and Paris location in March, continued with Episode 2: Sapienza in April, Episode 3: Marrakesh in May and now the Summer Bonus Episode in July before the final three locations; Thailand, the United States and the season finale in Japan arrive later in 2016.

HITMAN is available on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Windows PC.
