HITMAN vs Gary Busey

Fans have voted during the ‘Choose Your Hit’ online campaign with the clear winner being Gary Busey himself and today marks the first day of this wonky-eyed lunatic’s rampage through Sapienza. Owners of HITMAN’s Episode 2: Sapienza will be delighted to jump into this unique Elusive Target event titled ‘The Wild Card’. Unlike the previous Elusive Target events which are available for 72 hours and then gone forever, this time around players will have an entire week. That’s right folks, 168 hours to take out Mr. Busey, the same one chance only, limited time and intel rules still apply.

If you were successful with the previous Elusive Target events, combined with this one today, gives you 7 out of 10 required completions for an exclusive signature suit for Agent 47 from Hitman: Blood Money, or if like me, you missed previous ones, this could net you the 5 out of 5 reward for the Hitman: Absolution signature Suit. Don’t miss your chance at giving ol’ crazy pants Gary Busey some justice starting today at 13:00 BST and watch out for that lazy eyed death stare or you’ll miss your opportunity. Don’t let him give you the run around and elude you up until the event ends come July 28th, 13:00 BST.

Following the successful online campaign to ‘Choose Your Hit’, where fans voted who would appear in HITMAN as a special target between two Hollywood big-hitters Gary Cole and Gary Busey, the seventh Elusive Target, The Wildcard, is live in Sapienza across all platforms. A briefing video is available online and in-game to help players determine the approximate location of the target. Players will need to own HITMAN Episode 2: Sapienza in order to access this content.

*This Elusive Target is available for 168 hours (7 days)

Elusive Targets are part of the live content being published for HITMAN in-between episodes and represent a new game mode debuting for players. They are not going to be easy but if you can prove yourself, you’ll earn in-game rewards for completing multiple Elusive Target contracts, such as signature suits from previous Hitman games. You will receive the first reward for successfully completing 5 Elusive Target contracts.

The Elusive Targets are specially crafted, unique targets, which come with particular rules:

An Elusive Target is a once in a lifetime experience
They are available for a limited time only in game
Intel on the target will be limited
They will not appear in instinct mode, or the mini map and their locations will not be revealed to you – you’ll have to go and find them
Plan accordingly before you engage your target
Your target can only die once
If you die during the mission, that’s it
When the time runs out, they are gone for good
If you fail, there are no second chances
