Starpoint Gemini Warlords has been progressing steadily over the last six months on Steam Early Access. However this latest update for the title from Little Green Men Gaming, introduces some major changes and a wealth of new features. True to form, Little Green Men Gaming have been listening closely to player feedback, and have included many features requested by the community. In fact they are boasting that “All the things asked about and requested that we simply couldn’t implement in SG2, are now integrated into Warlords.” That is no small boast!

If you’re not aware, Starpoint Gemini is the spiritual successor to Star Fleet Command, extremely good real time tactical ship combat/adventure series from the late 90’s. However, Warlords has been morphed so much with new ideas and mechanics, that the game falls into a very rare category of Tactical/4X with options for campaign or sandbox gameplay too.

Little Green Men Games’ CEO Mario Mihokovic says: “This update is the second one in a series of larger upgrades for Starpoint Gemini Warlords. We’re excited to say that it is also the first one that includes community suggestions from Early Access users! Examples are the docking bay interiors, meant to make the game more immersive, as well as the recreation of customization panels, which now offer far more options and control over the customization process. Another surprise will be introduced in the following updates: an entirely redesigned skill system and enhanced UI, both as a direct result of feedback from the community. You guys are making the development process tougher but it is also very engaging. Thanks!

Starpoint Gemini Warlords is available in Steam’s Early Access program, at a current price of $ 24,99. For more information about the game, please visit the official website at , as well as the Facebook and Twitter profiles.
