Space Hulk: Deathwing Slightly Delayed Til Dec 14th

A bit of sad news today, Space Hulk: Deathwing will be launching a few days late, in the meantime, pre-ordering on Steam within the next 48 hours will net you a nice 15% discount, I guess it’s not all bad news.

Setting off on a pleasure cruise across the tormented rifts for a rollicking good time, mass slaughtering the Xenos filth on Wednesday December 14th. Apparently based on feedback received during last week’s open beta, Focus Home Interactive and Streum On Studios decided to push back the initial release date of Space Hulk: Deathwing.

To make it up to us, the previous jolly mass murderers left us with a few of their holiday snap shots to keep us entertained. Featuring such relaxing activities as being drooled on, having your face tenderized by vicious talons and being shot, repeatedly, in the dick by a horde of mutated, cross breed abominations.

Space Hulk: Deathwing, the FPS of Streum On studio set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, closed its technical beta last week, during which tens of thousands of players were able to give the team valuable feedback. The team is currently working relentlessly to address the technical points raised. Most issues have already been addressed, including drastic improvement in loading times, optimization of general performance, improvement of interface and menu elements, sound-design changes including character voices, and fix of numerous bugs and nearly all occurrences of crashes. Work is of course ongoing to fix the remainder of these issues.

In order to offer the best possible experience at launch, we have decided to postpone a few days the release of Space Hulk: Deathwing to allow the Streum On Studio and Focus Home Interactive teams to work on the final adjustments and optimization. As a result, the game will release December 14th on PC.

Space Hulk: Deathwing will be available on PC for download on December 14th. The game will also be available in 2017 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
