Antimatter Games’ sequel to the first Rising Storm, bundled with Red Orchestra 2, now has a deluxe edition as it crawls closer to a full release.

The original Rising Storm pitted the US Army and Marine Corps against the Imperial Japanese Army and Special Naval Landing Forces in the Pacific Theater of World War 2, but Tripwire has moved to the chaotic and terrifying jungles of Vietnam for the sequel. Now, through either earning a Beta key or by pre-purchasing Rising Storm 2, you too can jump in on the first wave of whirlybirds to enter the Vietnamese jungles.

Pre-purchasing also nets you four cosmetic headbands, two exclusive hats, and the official soundtrack upon the game’s full release, with a 25% discount off of the standard $29.99 USD price tag. Also coming alongside the pre-purchase announcement is the reveal of the required system specs, which are as follows:

  • Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 10 64-bit (latest Service Pack)
  • Intel Core i3 @ 2.5GHz or AMD Phenom @ 2.5GHz
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or ATI Radeon HD 5850
  • 4 GB RAM

  • Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 10 64-bit (latest Service Pack)
  • Intel i5 @ 3.2GHz or AMD @4GHz
  • NVIDIA GeForce 760 or AMD R9 270X
  • 6 GB RAM

No release date has been revealed quite yet, but if the Beta periods are any indication, we’re rapidly approaching a wide release for Rising Storm 2: Vietnam.
