Mafia III Dressed to Kill in Newest Performance Patch

Hanger 13 and 2K games have recently pushed out quite a large patch just earlier today for their latest game, Mafia III. The modestly large 5.8GB update brings with it plenty of optimizations and tweaks, as well as some slick new digs for Lincoln Clay to strut his stuff around New Bordeoux in.

While it’s nice that Clay can finally swap out his blood stained army rags, it’s a tad bit on the late side. I’m sure many others like myself have finished this game a week or so ago, it’ll be awhile before I replay it again, at least I’ll have a choice between 11 different clothing styles to crack some skulls in when the time comes.

The following list is just a few of the many things featured in today’s patch:

  • User Interface Improvements
  • Better Car Reflections
  • Streaming Issues Improved
  • Various Performance Optimizations
  • Savegame Corruption Fixes
  • Several Audio Related Issues Fixed
  • Various Cassandra’s Contraband Side-Mission Issues Resolved
  • And More

Besides some spiffy new duds, Mafia III received a little fine tuning under the hood with the latest patch, the work never ends according to Hangar 13, currently hard at work on releasing more free content, along with another feature…being late to the party, yet again… car customization and fun street races, keep your eyes and ears peeled, the next Mafia III update should be right around the corner.
