HITMAN’s 22nd Elusive Target Now Live

Square Enix and Io-Interactive have delivered once again with its never-ending-onslaught of updates and events from their episodic Hitman title, with today’s latest dealings marking the 22^nd Elusive Target event.

Looks like Agent 47 will be visiting the good ol’ U.S. of A. again with the newest Elusive Target taking place in Episode 5’s Colorado vista. The great bald one must (once again) deliver some justice out to all the evil-doers in the land, with today’s target being Pertti “the Bookeeper” Järnefelt.

Players will have “only” 168 hours to locate the target, all while avoiding combat, it seems our target is a bit skittish and will vamoose post haste if he catches even the slightest whiff of altercation, find the evidence, dispatch some justice, and then make a clean getaway for the usual post game celebrations. Of course, another point on the wall for some glorious Hitman goodies if you succeed.

From today, Friday, March 17^th until March 24^th at 13:00 GMT / 14:00 CET, you’ll have just one chance to accomplish your mission, don’t bugger it up agents, there are no second changes in Agent 47’s world.

Elusive Target #22, The Bookkeeper is now live in Colorado across all platforms. A briefing video is available online and in-game to help players determine the approximate location of the target. Players will need to own HITMAN Episode 5: Colorado in order to access this content.

Target will evacuate if alerted by combat, *The Elusive Target is available for 168 hours.

Elusive Targets are part of the live content being published for HITMAN in-between episodes and represent a new game mode debuting for players. They are not going to be easy but if you can prove yourself, you’ll earn in-game rewards for completing Elusive Target contracts.

The Elusive Targets are specially crafted, unique targets, which come with particular rules:

An Elusive Target is a once in a lifetime experience
They are available for a limited time only in game
Intel on the target will be limited
They will not appear in instinct mode, or the mini map and their locations will not be revealed to you – you’ll have to go and find them
Plan accordingly before you engage your target
Your target can only die once
If you die during the mission, that’s it
When the time runs out, they are gone for good
If you fail, there are no second chances
