Earth’s Dawn Invades Steam This December
Earth’s Dawn, developed by OneorEight and previously released in Japan under “Earth Wars”, throws you into the center of a battle for humankind against a new, terrifying threat from the stars.
After decades of peace, Earth is attacked and ravaged by an advanced alien race known as the E.B.E (as a conspiracy buff I’m assuming this is short for Extraterrestrial Biological Entity). Possibly the fast paced 2D action experience of 2016, which combines an accessible combat system with unparalleled customized skills, weapons and crafting options, and button mashing carnage we’ve all come to enjoy.
Keep this on your radar if you are a fan of RPG sidescrollers with a heavy manga style influence. The vibe I personally got from the trailer was Edge of Tomorrow meets Titanfall 2, which is something I haven’t seen before. Promising a deep combat system with narrative-driven branching missions and slick visuals, all while kicking it to some killer electro-beats, what more can you ask for?

Los Angeles, CA – November 30, 2016 – Videogame publisher Rising Star Games announced today that the fast-paced, side-scrolling action title Earth’s Dawn will be available for PC on December 7. Combining slick anime-like visuals, accessible combat mechanics, and unrivaled weapon and skill customization options, Earth’s Dawn is a tour de force 2D action experience. When purchased via Steam, there is a 20% launch period discount.
Earth’s Dawn takes place after the Earth was decimated by an invasion from an alien race known to humans as E.B.E. The E.B.E. moved across the planet, consuming anything in their path, and proved impervious to existing weapons. Ahead of the impending annihilation, a breakthrough was made – the E.B.E. was susceptible to damage by weaponry designed using its very own technology. The power to fight back was now in the hands of an elite fighting force!
Already thrilling players on home consoles, Earth’s Dawn will be available on PC via digital retailers on December 7 for the suggested retail price of $29.99/€29.99/£29.99, with a 20% launch period discount when purchased via Steam.
