The Last Caretaker Adds Something…Already There?
Well, sort of. Update 6.0 is now available, and amongst other things, it's revealing what's going on with that arch. The full list of new content can be found in the press release below. And to mark the occasion, there's also 20% off until next week. Rings within rings...or arches within arches? Heheh. This game…
The Last Caretaker is Having a Whale of a Time
Like, an actual whale. Which appears to be some kind of submarine. In the mechanical sense, not just that it's, you know, an aquatic creature. Called Project Jonah (of course) it brings an entire questline, not just a big splash. A really big splash, you could say. You can read more in the press release,…
Taking Care of the Skies
The latest update feels a bit...flighty, if you ask us. Quite literally. As in, you can literally take flight and be free as a bird. Introducing the Salvage Gyro. A personal chopper that lets you take to the skies for a birdseye view. But that's not all. This is the largest update yet, with more…
The Last Caretaker Gets a Sneaky Update
You might even, we hazard to suggest, call it a Shadow Drop. And, oh, would you look at that? Largely focused around player feedback, bugfixes and the like, there is nevertheless a lot more, too. The photo drone really caught my eye. It's a glorified photo mode, sure. But the implementation is what makes it…
The Last Caretaker Gets More to Take Care Of
Quests, equipment and whole new locations. A pretty hefty whack of content, all told. Update 02 really does add a bit of everything. Even a new vehicle. But the bit that really caught my eye, is the customisation. You can make your ship pink! As seen in the linked trailer at 43 seconds. A nice…
The Last Caretaker – Open World Existentialism
Gotta' be honest, I'm not usually a one for the survivalcrafting thing. But this has me intrigued. An abandoned oil rig, a thoughtful robot wondering what happened to, well, everything. That's something to pique the interest, 'tis true. Yeah, this has some real potential. Keep an eye out for when it hits Early Access. No…
