The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s Developers have been extremely generous with their expansions to the game. With a heap of free content that was already released alongside a single paid expansion there has definitely not been a shortage of things added. Unfortunately all good things come to an end as the final DLC will be releasing at the end of this month.

Soon enough you will be able to embark on the final adventure with Geralt as you head on into the Blood and Wine DLC. This DLC takes you to a completely new remote land called Toussaint, a fairy tale land any man dreams to head to. As you chat with the people of the kingdom a mystery is unveiled and the dark secrets of the kingdom are brought into the light. Seems like just the job for a Witcher. Especially one that’s got time on his hands.

Blood and Wine is a massive expansion housing over 90 brand new quests and over 30 hours of gameplay. If you’ve been hungry for some adventure, this will definitely satisfy your cravings.

“Blood and Wine” will be releasing on May 31st 2016.

Official Press Release

CD PROJEKT RED, creators of The Witcher series of games, announce that the final expansion to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Blood and Wine, will premiere on May 31st (yeah, some of you were close). Pre-orders are available now at buy.thewitcher.com!

“Blood and Wine makes The Witcher 3 complete — it’s Geralt’s final mission. Containing more than 90 new quests, and over thirty hours of brand new adventures, it’s something that I think gamers will remember for a long time,” said Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, Game Director, CD PROJEKT RED. “There’s also a massive amount of features we’re giving gamers with this expansion like a dynamic Point of Interest system, a new Gwent deck, new endgame mutation mechanics, and even a place Geralt can call home…. And it’s all happening in a new region as big as No Man’s Land in the base game,” Tomaszkiewicz adds.

THE WITCHER 3: WILD HUNT – BLOOD AND WINE will be available digitally on May 31st on PlayStation®4, Xbox One and PC. The limited box editions on PlayStation®4 and PC contain physical versions of the Northern Realms and Nilfgaard Gwent decks. BLOOD AND WINE can be bought as part of the Expansion Pass, which also contains HEARTS OF STONE the first expansion to THE WITCHER 3: WILD HUNT.
