Winner of the 2020 Pixel Game Maker MV Game Development Challenge, Timothy and the Tower of Mu is an old-school RPG platformer with some great faux-retro art. A demo is available for the next week via Steam and the full game is expected to release in 2022.

PLAYISM Prize Winner of the PGMMV Game Development Challenge 2020 Releasing in 2022!

Timothy and the Tower of Mu was chosen as the PLAYISM Prize Winner in the 2020 edition of the PGMMV Game Development Challenge. It combines classic action elements with beautiful pixel art and hardcore difficulty, promising to give players an unforgiving challenge.

The demo is available for all now during Steam Next Festival until 7th October, check it out for a taste of what is to come!

Story

Legend tells of a tower built by a God, rising so high that it disappears above the clouds and if someone manages to reach the top, one wish will be granted.

After his beloved grandfather’s passing, Timothy, armed only with hope, courage (and a slingshot), decides to face this deadly test to bring him back to life.

The Tower of Mu is waiting for the next victim: are you nimble, strong, and smart enough to overcome this challenge?

Timothy and the Tower of Mu is the second installment of Kibou Entertainment’s Timothy Series.

This latest creation by the studio captures the essence of classic retro games and introduces modern gameplay, puzzle, and action elements to create an unforgettable experience for 2D action lovers.
