Warlords has been in Steam Early Access since last April and in this time we’ve had a steady flow of updates, rollouts, rollbacks and many community ideas being added too. To sum up, Little Green Men Games have been doing a good job with communication, cooperation, and generally lots of cool stuff.

This latest update, named Conquest is the game’s largest update yet. The changelog list for Conquest is huge, and even the summary list is quite long, but some of the key points are: New controls and interactions with fleets, including autonomous fleets, completely re-worked reputation system, research! Now scientists will do something, new threats such as Warmasters, fast travel and Tgates (stargates to the rest of us), and lots more.

If you’ve been playing Warlords already, then now is a good time to dive back in and check out these new features, but if Early Access is not your thing, then it’s nice to know at least that the game is shaping up well.

Official Press Release

Danijel Mihokovic, Game Director at LGM Games says: “This update is by far the largest one we have released for Warlords, whilst it has been in Early Access. It introduces a host of key features that will make the biggest differentiator to Starpoint Gemini 2. We are anxious to see what the community makes of all the new additions, especially the first time they send one of their fleets out on a raid, in real time, every step of the way.”
