Remedy Entertainment shared some exciting news about its future. It seems they’re splitting up the studio into two development teams in order to work on more games at once and quickly get them out to the masses. Currently one of the teams is working on an early concept for an exciting new game which will hopefully come out in the not too distant future, all while the first team works hard developing something new for an undisclosed triple-A game project with its new partner, who’s yet to be named.

Remedy also disclosed that they’re opting out of this year’s E3 event. This will undoubtedly make some fans, who eagerly await news on a new Alan Wake game, a little sad. I’m one of those fans. While they’re not currently working on a game for the series, they did mention that they’re looking for other opportunities and mediums to explore the thrilling world of Alan Wake.
