We all love turning left, right? No, not left then right, just left. If you enjoy mono-directional turning as much as we do then you might be interested in the second developer diary from 704Games, makers of the official NASCAR game, NASCAR Heat 2. If you need a little more tempting; the developers have talked to actual NASCAR drivers about what it was like starting out and climbing the ranks to help craft the game’s career mode into a more engaging experience by having your car and team grow with you as well as fostering rivalries against the real-world drivers represented in the game.
NASCAR Heat 2 launches 12 September 2017.
704Games, NASCAR Team Properties’ exclusive console simulation-style video game licensee, has released a new developer diary video for NASCAR Heat 2, this time taking a behind-the-scenes look at the game’s expanded take on career mode.
Developer Monster Games has worked with top NASCAR racers like Brad Keselowski for insights on how it really feels to start from the bottom and earn your reputation as a champion, and that feedback has directly shaped the career experience. Starting out in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series™, each season brings new opportunities as you race your way through the NASCAR XFINITY Series™, and ultimately, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series™. Your racing performance over time will impact the team offers you receive, as well as how your vehicle and team grow with the momentum of victory. It’ll also influence the rivalries you form against the real-world drivers you’re sharing a track with.
In addition, 704Games recently revealed the complete roster of drivers that will be featured in-game as part of the NASCAR XFINITY Series on the game’s official blog: http://nascarheat.com/2017/08/09/nascar-heat-2-nascar-xfinity-series-roster.
NASCAR Heat 2 sports NASCAR’s top drivers, teams and tracks, expanding on the core experience of last year’s NASCAR Heat Evolution with the inclusion of all three national racing series in career mode, the return of two-player local multiplayer, expanded online multiplayer functionality, and upgraded visuals, physics and damage models.
NASCAR Heat 2 is expected to launch on Sept. 12 in the U.S. on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Windows PC via Steam for $49.99. It is available to preorder now at www.NASCARHeat.com and is rated E (Everyone) by the ESRB.
