It’s actually been available for a couple of weeks, now. But we’ve held off talking about it until now, so we can do our little bit in keeping the game relevant. It’s rare to see something that truly commits to being so much its own thing. And that should be applauded. So, consider this our modest contribution. And go check the game out.

POOLS Out Now on Steam

An Experimental Exploration Game

Jyväskylä, Finland –April 30, 2024– Independent development studio Tensori announces that POOLS, an experimental exploration game, is now available on Steam.

POOLS offers an immersive experience akin to exploring an art gallery. The absence of monsters and dialogue contributes to an oppressive atmosphere, enhanced by using sounds to create a realistic environment.

Featuring six unique chapters, each lasting 10 to 30 minutes, POOLS provides a mysterious and tense journey where players navigate mazes and uncover the evolving world around them, each with its own intrigue.

POOLS draws inspiration from the internet phenomenon ‘Backrooms Poolrooms’, with influences including artists like Jared Pike from 2022, Mortain Colors from 2022, Matt Studios videos from 2022, and the game Anemoiapolis: Chapter 1from early 2023.

While the first two chapters maintain traditional Poolrooms aesthetics, subsequent chapters offer unique interpretations.

Features
