Heart Machine’s gorgeous Hyper Light Drifter, previously existing in a state of release limbo, is coming to PC and Mac at the end of this month. Described as “Link to the Past Meets Diablo,” and featuring music from the excellent Disasterpiece, known for his work on FEZ and It Follows, Hyper Light Drifter has the player traversing across ravaged lands in search of a cure for a terrible illness. Previously, it ran an exceedingly successful Kickstarter, and after two and a half years of development time, it’s now primed for release. There’s no word on pricing at this time, though if the Kickstarter backer tiers are any indication, one would expect to see it around $15 USD.
