Granblue Fantasy Launching Globally on Steam

Video game publisher and developer Cygames, Inc. (HQ: Shibuya, Tokyo; President: Koichi Watanabe; hereinafter referred to as “Cygames”), in conjunction with video game illustration, design, planning, and development studio CyDesignation, Inc. (HQ: Shibuya, Tokyo; President: Hideo Minaba; hereinafter referred to as “CyDesignation”), have announced the development of a Steam® version of beloved online RPG Granblue Fantasy. Service is set to launch on Mar 10, 2026, coinciding with the game’s twelfth anniversary.

Players residing outside of Japan will be able to begin Granblue Fantasy using their Steam® accounts. Steam® version players will also experience Granblue through a rearranged layout designed for a 16:9 aspect ratio, rather than the original vertical orientation found in the Mobage, GREE, DMM, or Yahoo! versions. Players in certain regions, including Japan, will not be able to use this service. Players will not be able to play the Steam® version with existing Mobage, GREE, DMM, or Yahoo! accounts, nor will they be able to link data between new Steam® version accounts and these accounts. The Steam® version supports only Japanese and English.

What is Granblue Fantasy?
Granblue Fantasy is a classic mobile RPG released originally in 2014 for the Japanese market, currently accessible through the App Store, Google Play, AndApp, and most common web browsers.
