Do You Have What It Takes to Survive Inner Chains?

From the mad minds over at Telepaths’ Tree, comes the first in-game moments of gameplay from the upcoming first-person horror title, Inner Chains. Take a step inside the demented, dark biomechanical world, beautifully crafted to conjure up the most terrifying of nightmares.

After initially running a successful Kickstater campaign back in April, almost doubling the paltry $10,000 goal they had. Telepaths’ Tree was swimming amongst the sea of games in Steam’s Greenlight program, easily gathering a strong following, inevitably being Greenlit. It’s safe to say that Inner Chains has that special “something” we gamers seek.

Fast track to today, where we get our first glimpse of the beginning moments of Inner Chains, as the player awakens in a horrifying world, full of questions and completely alone. On a thrilling expedition through the twisted world in front of you, quickly discovering that, much like Australia, everything is dangerous and probably trying to kill you. Finally meeting up with some fellow travelers, at what seems to be the sickest pyrotechnics show around.

After gaining entry, you soon notice that things aren’t exactly what they seem; you stumbled upon some sort of activist rally of sorts. As not to interfere with matters that don’t involve you, continue on your travels along the beaten path. Soon enough you spot in the distance a huge, totally-not-menacing tower, nestled high in the mountains, surrounded by smoldering fires across a huge valley. Only a hop, skip and a jump away, and looking like a friendly place to visit, our weary pilgrim continues on his journey with a new destination set. What could go wrong?

Alas, with no exact date of release set, we have to sit and wait a little bit longer until the gates of Inner Chains swings open. I’ve wish listed this game so fast, I think I broke my mouse. With all the things we’ve seen thus far, and with optional VR support, without a doubt, Inner Chains is shaping up to be one of the must-have games of 2017.

Official Press Release

Telepaths’s Tree studio, with IMGN.PRO have an honor to present new, unpublished material from Inner Chains – an upcoming FPS game with horror elements, placed in a dark, bio-mechanical world.

In the latest video it is possible to see the first few minutes of gameplay, focused on the introduction of this incredible, horrifying world, created by Tomasz Strzalkowski. Players will have an opportunity to feel the mystical atmosphere of this place, meet its inhabitants, deadly flora and attempt to comprehend its rules.

In the video, the hero wakes up in a grave as one of the pilgrims, who are trying to reach their common goal. He is weak, slow and doesn’t wield any weapons. In this stage, he is not fully aware of the real dangers, rules and harsh reality of this world. On his journey, he meets many different superficial hazards which, after the discovery of their secrets and workings of the mysterious Caste, will prove necessary in order to fight the real enemy.

The surreal world of Inner Chains will open its gates to the players very soon, swallowing them whole and immersing them in a truly horrifying and stimulating experience
