The lovely people over at Capcom and the Xbox YouTube channel have given us a quick glimpse at the newest installment of the massively popular and long running, open-world zombie genocide simulator, Dead Rising 4.

Frank West, everyone’s favorite award winning photojournalist and survivor of the original zombie outbreak that hit Willamette, Colorado in 06’ is back and better than ever. Armed with the latest in high tech camera equipment and his enormous ego, Frank’s feeling the jolly holiday spirit and decides to do a little Christmas shopping. What better place to get the best deals on holiday gifts then Frank’s old stomping grounds over at the Willamette Parkview Mall.

It seems management over at the newly named Willamette Memorial Megaplex hasn’t learned a lesson from the last zombie outbreak that hit the town a few years back. No better way to kick off the rampaging Black Friday sales event then with a massive hoard of the undead, trampling and crawlin’ its way across the mall.

Frank finds himself, yet again, in the middle of a giant zombie epidemic, but this time Frank’s got a few more tricks up his sleeve. Combining his past zombie slaying experience with his mad skills at creating the most amazing makeshift weapons, as well as his newest toy, the extremely Badass Powered Armored Exosuit! Will this be enough to stave off another undead uprising? What kinds of colorful, insane psychopaths will Mr. West run into this time? What other shenanigans and sweet, glorious carnage does Dead Rising 4 have in store for players?

It seems we’ll just have to wait and find out what’s to come in the newest Dead Rising installment when it gets released this December. Until then, why not take this opportunity to revisit the first Willamette Mall disaster in the original Dead Rising game that just hit Steam last week. While you’re at it, you might as well pick up the sequels too, you won’t be disappointed.
