The Weebing Swan
Sorry, sorry, we couldn't resist. But yes, as the title suggests, the game's gotten an update with full Japanese voice work. Unfortunately, we seem to have missed the 25% discount that was applied to mark the occasion. But considering it's barely more than the price of a burger anyway, that's no great loss. You can…
To Infinity, Alice Beyond!
Pastels and cards. But don't let the calming aesthetics fool you, there's more lurking beneath the surface. Suddenly transported to The Beyond, Alice has an uphill struggle ahead of her. The particulars are vague at present, but with full launch due on October 16th, we won't have to wait long to start digging in. Also,…
It’s Time to Meow, and Craft, Let’s MeowCraft
It's a well-known fact that cats make the best blacksmiths. Well, okay, it's not, but all that's about to change. Released today, that's exactly what you're going to do. Meow and craft. Taking the roll of a former heroic mog, now it's time to facilitate the next generation of meowventurers. Craft what they need, build…
The Weeping Swan Releases Next Week
Not long to go, now. A little over a week. Though the demo is still available if you want to jump in right now. But yes, the full game is now set to release on April 2nd. Not much else to say, really. Two games in five years is pretty good going. So, too early…
Hungry Lamb Sequel The Weeping Swan Coming Soon
Whilst not a direct sequel, it does still take place in the same...universe, I guess. Set some years later, it's a standalone story. Though some characters from the previous game are expected to pop up at least every now and then. There's a demo currently available as part of Steam Next Fest. But be quick,…
The Hungry Lamb is Getting a Sequel
I keep saying, the Chinese dev scene is one to keep an eye on, and here's another example. Set to release at the end of 2025, the next game, The Weeping Swan: Ten Days of the City's Fall is already well under away. You can check the video to learn a little about the art…
The Hungry Lamb Hits Almost a Quarter Million Sales
We wouldn't usually be covering sales figures for a game, but I think this one is worthy of making an exception. It's not all that often you hear about a visual novel doing such impressive figures, and a Chinese one, at that. There's also a new localisation due later this month, so we get by…
The Hungry Lamb Feasts on Steam Today
You know, China has a really active game dev scene. It may not seem that way, but there are a whole shedload of games coming out, well, all the time. A lot of them just aren't really making it over to the West. Today's subject is one that has. And it is available, right now,…
Showa American Story – Announcement
We don’t know how this one slipped under our radar but NEKCOM Entertainment are working on an 80’s pop culture inspired mash up of Japanese and American culture filled with zombies, human enemies inspired by The Warriors, shots of the heroine’s ass, and at least one enemy inspired by Tetsuo The Iron Man. If you…
