Kasedo Games and SomaSim have today announced City of Gangsters, an ambitious mafia manager sim for PC, based in the turmoil of 1920s prohibition America.

The second game in a partnership between publisher & developer, following their collaboration on hit skyscraper sim Project Highrise, City of Gangsters puts players in the big city with limited contacts but a huge gap in the market to be exploited – the market of illicit alcohol.

Start your crime syndicate from nothing, and grow it into a well-oiled money machine. Build speakeasies and illegal distilleries. Manage production chains and resource distribution. Smuggle goods from out of town and bribe the police to look the other way. Grow a powerful crew and keep your rivals under your thumb. Eliminate competition and rule the city. But most importantly, keep the money flowing.

Behind many of the city’s facades, people are building makeshift distilleries, secret loading docks, nighttime speakeasies. Work your way into this network, and the world will be yours.
