Tekken has a legacy of pushing both its players and its graphics to their limits, so NGN, the Nvidia Gaming Network, put up a video showing just how gorgeous and competitive things can get.
When you can actually see the characters through the myriad of hitsparks and particles that fly off of them. It’s clear that Bandai Namco really put the effort into making every piece of cloth flow, every sliver of metal glisten, and in Yojimbo’s case, every tentacle wriggle in the fast-paced 3D fighting action. As far as I know, Tekken 7 will be the first fighter to really take full advantage of 4K PC resolution, and with its comparatively realistic look compared to other fighters like, the comic-y UMVC3 or cartoonish look of Street Fighter V, it makes Tekken 7 look as firmly different as it plays.
Tekken 7 is scheduled for release on March 18, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, arcade, and eventually PC when the Tekken team finishes their work on a PC version.
