It’s not every day you get to meet a dwarf. In fact it’s become a rather rare occurrence as of late, maybe them digging ever deeper has something to do with it. Whatever the cause, there are still some around and one of them just so happens to be Boindil Twoblade, a ferocious axe-wielding (yes, the name is rather ironic) one-man army of a dwarf.

As the first revealed companion of the upcoming title The Dwarves, based on the novel saga of the same name, Boindil is here to get you excited about its December 1st release date. Set in a fantasy world, the role-playing game attempts to combine a award-winning story (German Bestseller in Fantasy: 2008) with tactically challenging real-time battles. The game will include 15 playable heroes, each with their own individual skills.

Of course, no fantasy universe is complete without orcs, ogres, dark mages and…zombies. These will all be found in plenty, giving the dwarves plenty of opportunities to get into a good fight or two.
