Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf has recently been announced by developer HeroCraft. The card-based game will follow the tale of Valgard Twice Slain, squad leader of the Space Wolves as his Strike Cruiser was ambushed by the heretical Chaos Space Marines of the Word Bearers Legion. Available from tomorrow February 17th 2017 on Steam Early Access, the title is announced to ultimately feature campaign, PvP and a survival mode.
The release will quickly tell whether Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf has got what it takes to be recognized as a good Warhammer title. With Games Workshop having opened the floodgates after the collapse of THQ, the recent track record in the digital market has been patchy, with good or excellent titles being escorted on to the PC platform by a horde of bad games.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf itself was already released on iOS in 2014 and Android half a year later. On the mobile platform in enjoyed some success, but many a title has failed miserably when making the jump on to PC. With enhanced graphics and a new UI, HeroCraft now hopes to succeed where previous titles have failed.

HeroCraft announces today that Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf will be available tomorrow on Steam Early Access. Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf is a turn-based tactical game with RPG elements where you play as the Space Wolf, Valgard Twice Slain, and his squad, castaways in a hostile planet in a battle against the fanatical and deadly Word Bearers –traitors in service for the Chaos Gods. The game is driven using collectible cards representing the arsenal of weapons and abilities of the Space Marines of the Space Wolves Chapter originating from the Feral World of Fenris. Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf features epic campaign and PvP modes, with a survival mode in the pipeline.
The game was released on iOS for the first time in 2014, then half a year later on Android, with more than 3,5 million downloads in total. HeroCraft is very excited to bring the game with enhanced graphics, new GUI and controls and many other new features to PC players.
