Ubisoft are kicking up a real stink at this year’s Gamesom. Drifting, at a leisurely pace, all the way across the pond from the good ol U S of A. Ladies and gentlemen, The Fractured but Whole is ready to unleash itself upon the world. Coming this December, and offering the previous game gratis for those who don’t already have it. The stakes have been raised.

South Park: The Fractured but Whole

This is no longer a fight for the Stick of Truth, this is an all-out civil war. I mean, we could say more, but come on guys, its South Park. What more do you need to know? Well, there’s also an interview with the designer of the Nosulus Rift which has to be seen to be believed. Words cannot describe the sheer wtf-ery. Whatever you may think of South Park, be you a casual fan, or hardcore Parkite. This is certainly…this is going to be a thing.

South Park: The Fractured but Whole will release across all major platforms on December 6tth at a price of £39.99, with a Gold Edition that also contains the season pass for £59.99.

For Honor

Meanwhile, if intense melee combat is more your kind of thing. There’s a short, in engine, trailer showing off the three factions of three-way brawler For Honor. This is one I’ve had my eye on since it was first announced back at E3. Fun fact, I’m of Viking descent myself.

Ubi were also kind enough to spill the beans on some more details on heroes, classes, game modes, tactics and customization as well as trying to assure us, PC gamers, how thoughtful they are with the PC version . Should you wish to dive into the game and take part, there’s an alpha, now accepting sign-ups, coming between September 15th and 18th.

The full game is currently scheduled for release on February 14th (no really) of 2017.

Watch Dogs 2

Then there’s Watch Dogs 2. Ubi gave us a brief look at the game’s online functions, which now includes online co-op that has a drop-in/drop-out method somewhat akin to how Assassin’s Creed Unity. Though it only seems to show people working in pairs in the video, the always online nature of the game would suggest larger groupings are an option. There’s also a return of the hacking gameplay from the previous game, with new tools to stay undetected, and spot an invader, as well as a Bounty mechanic. Should you wreak too much havoc, other players could come gunning for you, or you for them.

Watch Dogs 2 is set to release on November 15th for all major platforms, with all DLC going to the PlayStation 4 first. Priced at £39.99 for the standard edition, with a Deluxe and Gold edition option at £54.99 and £69.99 respectively and a Zodiac Killer mission available as a pre-order bonus.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands

Ghost Recon Wildlands, the new co-op open-world military action-adventure shooter game thing, brought in a trailer introducing us to the attire and tools of a Ghosts trade. Camo and uniforms to help you stay hidden, weapons and attachments to help dispatch baddies efficiently and different paint jobs to look cool while on the job. An interesting thing is that this new trailer shows off what seems to be women as Ghosts too, if that’s the case Ghost Recon is no longer a boy’s only club.

If you decide to join, Wildlands is out on 7th of March, 2017.

Champions of Anteria

Champions of Anteria has two quick trailers for us. One showcasing an Active Pause system, which allows you to stop the action at any time, look around and plan your next move. Something that is sure to be of great help, as things can get quite frenetic.

But we don’t have to take their word for it. Our second video gives us some basic gameplay, which we can all step in and try out right now. As there is a demo available, via Uplay, to download and play for free. Offering up to two hours of play time, to jump in and get a feel for things. And hey, should you be so inclined, drop a few bucks to make a pre-order.

With just over two weeks to go before the full game release on the 30th.

The Crew: Calling All Units

Ubisoft brought an announcement for the new The Crew‘s expansion, Calling All Units, as well but I already covered it earlier so click here to learn more about it.

Steep

Last up is a new title called Steep. Which would best be described as The Crew on skis. Offering a large, open world mountain range to ski down, showing off your skills with a deer head. Yeah, seriously. Or if you’re into something even more ostentatious, leap out and glide down on a wingsuit. Because Ubisoft. You can register for the upcoming beta right now, with the game set to release on December 2nd. I must say, it has piqued my interest, so I might just see you there.
