Total War: Warhammer II In-Game Engine Trailer

Just over a month ago Sega announced that Total War: Warhammer II was in the works. With only guess work and limited knowledge of what’s happening with Warhammer II. Our very own Bis18marck70 has already covered the subject thoroughly. However, now that we have the full in-game trailer, I can add that Warhammer II is looking amazing!

Enjoyed the trailer? Good…there’s just one thing I’m worried about, I remember how good the in-game trailer for Total War: Warhammer was nearly two years ago. It was a great trailer, just as this new one is a great trailer, but the thing with great trailers is; even when they use the in-game engine, they don’t tell us very much about the gameplay.

Overall, I was slightly disappointed with Total War: Warhammer, like a lot of strategy games (which are niche games) that try to appeal to the masses, it was dumbed down a bit. The first Warhammer is still fun, don’t get me wrong, but the question is; Which way have Creative Assembly decided to go with the sequel? Will they listen to their core fans and add more depth to some of the strategic features, or add some of the features left out from the first game? Or will they be blinded by the success and try to appeal to a wider audience still, by dumbing the game down even further?
