Out of nowhere EA just announced that Titanfall 2 is a thing. It probably surprised no one as the rumours were floating around for some time but now it’s official.

There is very little to go by, just a short teaser clip that shows a pod and a Titan. The interesting thing to note is that the Titan is wielding a sword which indicates that we might be seeing more melee oriented battles or arenas.

According to the video the game is coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC but the full reveal will be on June 12, just before E3, and the expo will surely net lots more details. For now enjoy the teaser and let us know if you spotted anything else noteworthy.
