NeocoreGames has launched a new monthly video series, the Inquisitorial Log. Gradually unveiling the most important features of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr, the first Log focuses on the Open World environment and the developments on the sector map.
Combining traditional Single player RPG elements with a shared Multiplayer progression that is influenced by the players offline actions, the Open World is set to change the tone and content of the experience as time goes by. With sectors and sub-sectors gradually being unlocked by the player and the developer in free content DLC packs, the game might very well hold exceptional longevity for players invested in the 40K universe.
Additionally, by creating an environment of randomly generated maps (ala Diablo), the developers hope to shape a diverse world, accurately portraying the diverse 40K lore. For more information on the Open World and Sector gameplay, check out the video above. A playable Alpha is announced to release sometime soon.
