Servant of the Illuminati and ice queen Kolin has already played a major part in the story of Street Fighter V, but she’ll soon be one of the playable fighters online too.

Kolin is showing that Sub-Zero’s got nothing on her with an anti-air parry, crossover mixups, double jump, and an ice-slide that would make King of Fighter’s Koola jealous. With no fireball and an fireball invincible EX-move that travels across the screen, she’s a rushdown character that’s strong in the air and on jump in.

According to Destructoid, her V-Skill lets her absorb a hit and counter with two quick slashes, while her V-Skill causes ice spikes to burst out of the ground in front of her two times similar to how Urien’s Aegis Reflector or Ibuki’s bombs work. Kolin’s V-Skill also has a unique property of “freezing” the opponents stung gauge, meaning that if the stun gauge fills then they’ll be frozen in place. Finally, her critical art, Frost Pillar, is a single hit punch that leads into the opponent getting impaled by a giant ice spike.

For the Illuminati, she can be surprisingly direct when she needs to be it seems. Kolin will be released on February 28th as the second of five season two characters Capcom plans on releasing this year.
