Valve has just “ninja” updated their Steam platform with the newest improvements from the Discovery 2.0 update.
The latest “let’s make Steam great again” initiative on Valves part to bring Steam into the future, helping customers make quicker, yet wiser choices while browser. Keeping updated with friend activity while shopping or checking out your discovery queue. Getting the most out of the Steam experience while we’re not playing the latest smash hits or buying and trading the mountains of Steam Cards we have piled up in the corner.
The following feature updates have been included with today’s stealth update:
Quicker Quick Access: Getting around Steams many sections has never been quicker.
More Personalization: New quick menu options to better specialize your shopping experience.
Improved Special Offers: Find the greatest deals with the expanded discount and recommended specials section.
Informative Smart Highlights: Each game hub now shows more pertinent information which better suits each user.
Better Discovery Queue: Bigger and better then ever customized game discovery section.
Easy Navigation Buttons: Shiny blue buttons at the top make it easier for users to get to Steams most common areas.
Curators Expanded: More info and quicker access to your curators suggestions.
Updated Games Section: Personalized menu now shows which of your games have been recently updated.
Now More Personalized: All lists across the store filter out what you own and the games you deem “uninteresting”.
The sexy new Steam Store face lift is a very much welcomed update, pretty much everything has been tweaked either visually or functionally, not too shabby if you ask me, especially in combination with my Steam Skin of choice, Pixelvision 2. Eye candy to the extreme!
