The developers behind the critically acclaimed and award winning Sniper Elite franchise, Rebellion, have just released the world exclusive debut trailer featuring gameplay from their upcoming sequel, Sniper Elite 4.

This brutally realistic and visceral tactical third-person, stealth-action, WWII shooter comes packed with plenty of improvements and additional features from its earlier installments, as well as a much improved AI system, resulting in a more responsive and difficult battle with enemies. Significantly larger maps with multiple routes and choices for various tactical advantages. The tweaked player movement system now allows us more freedom and verticality, giving us the ability to climb up and over objects and grab and maneuver around ledges.

Being reintroduced back into the series is several co-op missions and competitive online multiplayer modes. Along  with the much beloved fan favorite, TARGET FÜHRER, a special assassination bonus mission in which players are set against history’s most notorious and ruthless tyrant, Adolf Hitler.

Sniper Elite 4 this time around is set against the beautifully landscaped Italian peninsula, following the immediate events of Sniper Elite III. Karl Fairburne, an OSS agent during WWII, tasked with assisting the Italian Resistance Force in their mission to fight back against the fascist Nazi occupation in 1943 Italy.

In the above trailer, we see our first look at the gorgeous Italian backdrops with plenty of gruesome guts n’ glory action filled with explosions and chaos. Agent Fairburne placing traps and taking care of business, both from a distance with his trusty Sniper rifle, but also from an up close and personal level. Before the trailers comes to an end, we’re treated to a sneak peak at the FÜHRER himself, teasing us to the above mentioned special bonus mission.

The TARGET FÜHRER assassination mission takes place in a forgotten corner of the Mediterranean on a secret Nazi U-Boat compound that’s threatening Allied forces within the area. Karl’s tasked with eliminating the U-Boat facility commander and stopping all production, eventually discovering that Hitler himself has come for a visit to check out the base. Time to take out the head of the Nazi Regime, either alone or with the help of a friend in this optional co-op campaign mission.

The Deluxe Edition comes packed with all the above, as well as every present and future DLC content coming to Sniper Elite 4 which is set to release Feb 14th, 2017.
