Sherlock Holmes: E3’s Daughter

Behold a pale E3, and a pale Sherlock upon him. With the former now in full swing, the latter has sidled forward out of the shadows to make his presence known. Bringing with him a daughter that seems to have formed directly out of thin air, the world’s greatest detective displays his typical, impeccable timing. Making his presence known again just in time for people to start popping their clogs. Not that that’s a bad thing, since solving a good puzzle is, quite literally, Holmes’ bread and butter. As they say.

The latest, an official launch trailer, shows us very little of substance, and nothing we didn’t know already. But it does a great job of setting the tone for things to come. Shows very little (aka none) of the titular sprog however, which I’m still betting is some elaborate trick by the equally elusive Miss De’Bouvier. Or perhaps her presence is part of some attempt to offset said deception. The point is, even in this seemingly innocuous 58 seconds of trailer, there are mysteries just demanding the application of a good pipe or three to unravel.

Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter is now available across most major platforms for an average price of £30-£50. How absurdly simple.
