Tripwire Interactive and Antimatter Games have recently released an exciting new trailer for their upcoming sequel to the hugely popular 2013 WWII multiplayer first person shooter, Rising Storm. In the above trailer for Rising Storm 2: Vietnam, we’re giving our first look at three of the United States Armed Forces’ Helicopters. Highlighting the air dominating power players have at their disposal during online matches as they pilot either the all-purpose UH-1H Iroquois, the recon specialized OH-6 Cayuse or the multi-arsenal AH-1G.
The addition of Helicopters added to Rising Storm 2 will bring a whole new world of opportunities to the series. Giving players the option of scoping ahead for enemies in the thick, lush jungles of Vietnam with the OH-6 “Loach” or enabling teams the ability with the UH-1H “Huey” to quickly transport players across vast fields for a precise tactical strike and quick retreat if need be. Last but definitely not least, the awesome power to bring down the heavens with the formidable dual FFAR rocket, 20mm M195, 40mm grenade launcher, minigun mounted AH-1G “Cobra” attack chopper.
To celebrate the new gameplay highlighting Vietnam trailer, Tripwire Interactive have given all of the previously released Red Orchestra and Rising Storm games a massive 75% off discount! Better get it while you can, this generous flash sale ends September 5th at 10:00 AM PST. What a perfect way to get players, new and old, the opportunity to keep themselves entertained and further develop their skills while they wait for the release of Rising Storm 2: Vietnam sometime early 2017.
Tripwire Interactive has released a brand new trailer highlighting the air power that United States Armed Forces will have at their disposal in their upcoming tactical FPS, Rising Storm 2: Vietnam. The sequel to the smash hit Rising Storm, PC Gamer’s 2013 ‘Multiplayer Game of the Year’, Rising Storm 2: Vietnam will be published by Tripwire Interactive, and is currently being developed by Antimatter Games, the same team that created the award-winning innovative asymmetric gameplay of the original Rising Storm.
Today’s brand new trailer features three helicopters which can be piloted by players during matches in action. The all-purpose and iconic UH-1H Iroquois, nicknamed the “Huey”, functions as both a transport, carrying up to 6 passengers around the battlefield, or a mobile spawn point for U.S. Armed Forces, bringing with it two M60 door guns to provide cover for teammates below. Battlefield tacticians will likely favor the OH-6 Cayuse, nicknamed the “Loach”, for its ability to quick recon the map and the ability to use commander abilities from the cockpit. The final helicopter, the AH-1G, nicknamed the “Cobra”, brings down the heavens with its arsenal of weapons, including two FFAR rocket pods, a 20mm M195 auto-cannon, a 40mm grenade launcher, and a front-mounted minigun.
To celebrate the new trailer release, all of the previously released games in the Red Orchestra/Rising Storm series are currently 75% off on Steam. The sale ends on Monday September 5th at 10AM PST / 1PM EST. Click here for more information.
