If you own a boxed copy of Master of Orion 1,2, or 3 you can now reclaim any version as a digital copy on GoG.

This may seem like a minor step for GoG, and yes most MoO fans have probably bought a digital copy by now (MoO 1 & 2 where the first games I bought on GoG). But this is still an unprecedented step for the digital store front to take, one that will gain them even more good will (if that’s possible) and shows a proclivity of caring and attention to detail. That can only gain them more trust and more customers.

All of a sudden keeping a bookshelf full of old games seems like a better investment than I thought. I’ll be sending in a picture of my MoO 3 box soon. GoG you have my attention, I’ll be waiting eagerly to see if you follow this policy on other games too.
