Now You Can Manage Your Own Jurassic Park

Jurassic World Evolution, aside from being a cringe worthy name, is an upcoming management sim in which you build your own Jurassic Park. Cool, that’s done, now we can all go home. What do you mean it’s my job? Shush you! Imaginary editor that is actually me fluffing this up with extra words for no good reason!

Okay, fine, I admit it, I’m going to be al over this. It’s your very own Jurassic Park, even if it’s naff, it’s still dinosaurs. The only concern we have is that it’s going to end up being some micro-transaction ridden, season pass fleecing travesty of a cash grab that won’t actually let the dinosaurs escape (like it shows in the trailer above) unless you buy the extra content, like, a year down the line.

If that isn’t the case, and I can have my dinos break out whenever I want (yeah, deliberately, what? Shut up!) then it’s going to be awesome! It does look…well, it’s a pre-rendered trailer, so who knows at this stage? Worth keeping an eye on though. Despite al my snark, this is actually something I’m interested in, I’m  just jaded by the way a lot of publishers are going down the “consumers are the enemy” route, trying to force more money out of us, rather than just making something we want to play.

Huh, I went pretty deep for a moment there.

Jurassic World Evolution (is still a dumb title) will be arriving some time next year across most major platforms.
