Need For Speed Payback is the latest racer in the long running series that’s had its ups and downs throughout the years. A good map makes an open world racing game worthwhile though, and we’ve got a look at Payback‘s map thanks to the new trailer and accompanying site. It looks like it’ll have a good variety of terrain, ranging from the city to the desert, canyons, and a forest. Some of the events you’ll be able to partake in in these environments are; drift zones, where you’ll attempt to maintain a sweet slide; speed traps, where you’ll have to floor it if you want to do well; and bait crates, grab one and the cops will do their best to take you out before you reach the escape point.
