Wall-run, booster jump, and glide your way over to the latest Titanfall 2 trailer, showcasing a variety of the new Pilot abilities, and the slick presentation of Titanfall 2’s new on-foot combat. Despite some changes from the previous entry, such as removing the AI teammates, Respawn has given players new abilities and options to increase their killing potential, and not just from a “shoot more bullets” standpoint. A grappling hook, deployable shield, local teleportation and more are just a few of the nine abilities that Pilots will be able to kit out with, and a full list is available here.
That’s not all though. Respawn also released the minimum specifications required to run their mech-based FPS, along with some explanation and hardware tests along the way. You can find the full breakdown and associated graphs here, but the specs will be posted below.

Despair, those of us AMD users, as we won’t be able to approach the 4K/60FPS threshold that Respawn is putting out, according to them. Also of note is that the “minimum” requirements apply to a 1600×900 resolution, with a variable framerate. Something to keep in mind if you have a lower spec PC. In the post linked above, Respawn also goes into detail on the new tech that has been included, from new networking systems to audio design and processing, to new lighting effects, and the variety of video options to boot. It all looks and sounds gorgeous, in preparation for Titan drop coming on October 28th.
