With a fifteen second teaser, don’t expect to actually see much about LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. All we have is a few seconds of Groot, running away from things that are falling over and exploding. You could say it features…Grootuitous destruction!
In fact, the majority of the very brief teaser is actually taken up by the logo, with Doctor Strange apparently summoning it via the Power Cosmic. The press release however, is far more enlightening. Promising an original story, which will feature lots of studs, some more studs, punching other LEGO people until they explode, and even more studs.
The game will feature Kang the Conqueror as the primary villain, and will take the player across several different time zones ranging from Ancient Egypt, to the Wild West, and everywhere in between. With the various heroes and villains having some time appropriate new costumes on top.
Cowboy Captain America. ‘Nuff said.
