Today we’re pleased to present Hanger 13 and 2K Games latest released Mafia III trailer, The Heist. Much like last week’s quick look of what the game has in store later this year on Oct 7th, we once again are given a “hype train” fueled look into this amazing looking, much anticipated sequel in the critically acclaimed Mafia franchise. This brief two-minute trailer is filled to the brim with glorious visuals, a perfectly accompanied soundtrack, beautifully framed, high octane and cinematic story driven segments, and a brief glimpse into the trials and tribulations our protagonist, Lincoln Clay, has in store for him in the ruthless city of New Bordeaux.

I’m extremely excited to jump into Clay’s shoes in this 60’s era, Louisiana based open-world action-adventure game, I’ve always been a rabid fan of this genre, forever devouring and gorging myself on games like Saints Row, Grand Theft Auto, L.A. Noire, True Crime, The Godfather, The Getaway and Driver franchises, always asking for more and Mafia III will be no exception. Since 2002, with the first Mafia game on PC, I was hooked! Eagerly waiting for its sequel, which finally arrived after 8 years, a long period but well worth the wait. It truly looks like the next chapter in the ongoing series will be well worth its lengthy 6 year waiting period. With each new screenshot and gameplay trailer being released, Mafia III is looking more and more phenomenal every time we take a peek and my excitement grows each time in tandem.
