Another day, another Mafia III announcement brought to you once again by 2K Games and Hangar 13.
The latest installment in the long running ‘World of New Bordeaux’ series shines a light on some of the high-octane combat and gunplay mechanics found within Mafia III. We see Lincoln Clay pwning his Italian Mafia rivals with hand to hand combat, stealthily stalking his victims and performing brutal take downs and an all-out barrage of bullets with guns blazing.
In the above video we see the end product of a highly skilled ex-soldier who trained in various combat tactics to survive the deadly jungles of Vietnam. Utilizing what he’s learned and applying his vast skills with deadly precision against all those who stand in his way.
After serving us a glorious feast of action and mayhem, 2K Games tops us off with a little dessert before we go. The newest ‘Inside Look’ episode (down below) takes us behind the curtains with the marvelous writers of Mafia III to learn how Lincoln adapts to his surroundings and uses the environment to his advantage.Taking the tactical stealthy approach, moving cover to cover to gain ground and surprise his foes, catching them off guard and owning the battlefield. Throw on a flak vest, grab a fist full of grenades and storm in with a hail of bullets.
With the sheer amount of footage we’ve seen regarding the game over the months, suffice it to say (aside from possible performance issues on launch) that Mafia III will be one hell of a fun game to sink a couple hours into this October.
