Legrand Legacy’s Rebooted Kickstarter Almost at Goal

Back in November, SEMISOFT’s tactical turn-based JRPG, Legrand Legacy, had their Kickstarter see a few bumps along the way during its first campaign, slowly growing in funding as it tried to reach the initial goal of £85,000.

Even though things weren’t looking to good during its final days on Kickstarter, Legrand Legacy’s leading game designer, Henry William Winata had some wonderful news during the final days of 2016, he had this to say.

“During the holidays we were approached by a group who saw the potential in Legrand Legacy and it’s thanks for them that we have secured a deal to cover part of the development costs – as long as we can secure the rest with a new Kickstarter campaign!”

So from what, Legrand Legacy is getting a second chance at life with the rebooted Kickstarter campaign and its new objective set at the lowered £40,000 goal, and in just a short week, Legrand Legacy has hit 70% of that final goal.

In the following weeks, SEMISOFT urges players to spread the word, help their campaign grow to fruition as they share more updates about their rich, hand-drawn, 2.5D open world JRPG. Having recently updated their Prologue Chapter demo (version B) with feedback from Kickstarter backers, no better time than the present to check out what the game has to offer.

January 25 2017, Jakarta, Indonesia – In just one week, SEMISOFT’s rebooted Kickstarter campaign for Legrand Legacy has achieved 70% of its target and now looks toward funding and stretch goals.

Legrand Legacy is a tactical turn-based JRPG that takes you on a journey through a chaotic world that’s torn apart by civil war and threatened by an otherworldly invasion. You play as Finn, the reluctant leader of a band of unlikely heroes, who soon discovers that the true peril to their universe lies within themselves. The game combines beautiful hand drawn backgrounds with highly detailed character models and environmental effects, to deeply immerse players in the world of Legrand.
