Black Canary, Martial Artist and wielder of the Canary Cry, is stepping into Injustice 2 to prove that it’s not just aliens and weirdos that can enter the ring.

While showing off two new stages (Arkham Asylum and Atlantis presumably), Black Canary uses her agility and speed to get in close and mix-up opponents. Featuring the grenades and kicks of Mortal Kombat X’s Sonya Cage is a nice change from super strength or aliens powers, though she does the first aerial super we’ve seen, and it’s her signature sonic scream.

Injustice 2 is planned for release on May 16th, and DC has plenty more characters like Poison Ivy, Bane, Aquaman, and many more to show off, so expect more of these character-specific trailers in the near future.
