The second map pack for Infinite Warfare brings, yes…more zombies, but also three new maps and a remake of Modern Warfare 2’s Rust map.
Far removed from the oil derrick of the Middle East, Rust is now Excess, a luxurious penthouse with the same tight lanes and close-quarters combat of the original. The first new map is Archive, a post-futurist art gallery with both interior and exterior combat. Next comes Scrap, an abandoned junkyard on the moon that features massive magnets that flip players upside-down, offering new perspectives and sniper perches. Last but not least, Turista, a varied map set within the decaying bones of an ancient, massive creature.
New emotes and gestures are also coming as part of the update cycle, various bug-fixes and patches are slowly making their way to all platforms as well. The Continuum DLC arrived on PlayStation 4 on April 18th, and will be coming to PC and Xbox on May 18th…or close to it.
Unfortunately, similarly to Black Ops 3, DLCs can no longer be bought separately, and must be purchased as part of the Season Pass, which will run you about $50 USD. Can’t say that I agree with that call, but…it is what it is.
